SO tired. I did Reiki 1 in York yesterday, a day of concentrating, and driving, and being with strangers, and today I can hardly move. The moral of the story is, book a day or two off work after a course. It was an amazing day - such an odd sensation, to feel your palms prickling as you run your hands over a stranger's aura. An interesting group of people, all there for different reasons - and all of us trying not to drop each other's heads back onto the therapy table...
I hate being away from Herbie for a day, when I'm already at work during the week, but my sister came and dog-sat, and fed them her left-over moussaka and gave long ear scritches. I hope I learned something that can help Herbie.

I am sure you learned loads to help Herbie. Just helping him relax will aid his healing. And moussaka is an EXCELLENT medicine ;o)
I am glad you posted, was worried when you didn't yesterday.
Long ear scritches sound nice. I could use one of those. Back in the day, I edited a couple of books on reiki, but I don't remember much about it now.
Reiki is wonderful and hopefully Herbie will enjoy it too!
I'm a Reiki Master although I don't actually practice anymore, just use it for my dogs, my friends and their dogs.
Reiki is amazing! I believe that anything and everything helps. Keep up the good work.
Happy Anniversary/Birthday/Gotcha Day!
What a great story. Dogs are so smart, I love it when they choose us!! Even though he doesn't get to live to be the oldest greyhound in the world, he is the most loved and best greyhound in the world (along with Hollie, of course)!
